Nous sommes des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles d\u00e9vou\u00e9.e.s qui se sont r\u00e9unis pour former le Groupe Sauvons Sandy Beach.<\/em> Nous tenons \u00e0 c\u0153ur la protection de Sandy Beach, un havre naturel pr\u00e9cieux qui est menac\u00e9 par des projets de d\u00e9veloppement immobilier depuis des d\u00e9cennies.<\/p>\n

Depuis 2024, notre groupe est d\u00e9sormais sous l\u2019\u00e9gide de la Conversation de Sandy Beach,<\/em> qui a le statut d\u2019organisme de bienfaisance.<\/p>\n

Nous reconnaissons que le d\u00e9veloppement est n\u00e9cessaire et peut apporter de nombreux avantages. Nous pensons \u00e9galement que le lieu et la mani\u00e8re dont le d\u00e9veloppement se produit sont importants. Sandy Beach n\u2019est pas le bon endroit!<\/p>\n

About Us<\/h2>

We are dedicated volunteers who came together as The Save Sandy Beach Group.<\/em> We care passionately about protecting Sandy Beach, a cherished natural haven in Hudson, Quebec that has been under threat of development for decades.<\/p>

Our group now operates under the aegis of the Sandy Beach Conservancy,<\/em> a not-for-profit organization created in 2024 that now has charitable status.<\/p>

We recognize that development is necessary and can bring many benefits. We also believe that it matters where and how development occurs. Sandy Beach is not the place!<\/p>

\u201cOnce destroyed Nature\u2019s beauty cannot be repurchased at any price\u201d \u2013 Ansel Adams<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
