About Us
We are a citizens’ coalition of concerned and dedicated individuals who are passionate about protecting Sandy Beach, a cherished natural haven in Hudson that is imminently threatened by development.
We recognize that development is necessary and can bring many benefits. We also believe that it matters where and how development occurs.
We hold the conviction that Sandy Beach is an invaluable asset to our community both for its pristine beauty and ecological importance. This unique natural space is the heart of Hudson and should be enjoyed and treasured now and always by residents and visitors alike.

Our Vision: Protect all of Sandy Beach: wetlands, woodlands, beach and river, in order to continue the vital role of this diverse eco-system, where people enjoy access to a natural haven that contributes to the well-being of our community.
Our Mission
Raise awareness of the importance and urgency of protecting Sandy Beach for generations to come. Minimize the impact on taxpayers by helping to secure the legal and financial pathways leading to long term stewardship of this precious natural space.
